Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a useful tool used by engineers in many industries to study flow. A relatively new industry adopt the use of CFD agricultural industry. spray nozzle commonly spraying, Teejet 110-degree (TeeJet Technologies, 2020), was simulated. method developed pulse spray. user-defined function define velocity at inlet The domain then extended allow examination slice 20 inches below nozzle. simulation results were compared experimental collected from sprayer testbed. effect frequency investigated changing pulses. Results these studies show that userdefined can be model nozzles, but validity are strongly related computational resources available, and increasing pulses higher concentrated toward center plume. simulations carried out using commercial code (CD-Adapco, 2019).
